Important: Lift & Log is a fitness tracking and planning tool—not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency guidance, or a substitute for a qualified professional.
1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms apply to your use of the Lift & Log app, Apple Watch companion, and website. By using Lift & Log, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with these terms and applicable platform rules. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Fitness information is not medical advice
Workouts, calculations, progress estimates, nutrition targets, movement information, timers, substitutions, and other content are provided for general fitness tracking and informational purposes. They are not individualized medical or clinical recommendations.
Consult a qualified physician or other appropriate professional before beginning or changing an exercise or nutrition program, particularly if you have an injury, health condition, symptoms, are pregnant, or have concerns about whether an activity is appropriate for you. Seek emergency help through local emergency services when needed; do not rely on Lift & Log for emergencies.
3. Your responsibility
Exercise involves risk. You are responsible for selecting appropriate movements, loads, intensity, equipment, environment, supervision, and recovery. Stop an activity if you feel pain, faintness, unusual shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms, and seek appropriate help.
You are also responsible for checking entries, calculations, imported workouts, timer states, and Apple Health exports before relying on them. Automated calculations and imported content can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.
4. Local data and availability
Lift & Log is local-first and does not provide a Lift & Log account or cloud backup. You are responsible for your device, its backups, and decisions to reset, offload, or delete the app. We cannot recover an on-device database that has been removed.
We aim to provide a useful and reliable tool, but the app and site are provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, and access may be interrupted by software, device, network, operating-system, or third-party service conditions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Apple Health and third-party content
Apple Health and CrossFit WOD retrieval are optional. Third-party services and content remain subject to their providers’ availability, terms, and practices. Lift & Log is not affiliated with or endorsed by CrossFit, LLC. CrossFit and related marks are the property of their respective owners.
Apple Health is an interoperability layer, not the source of truth or a full backup for Lift & Log. Review synced records and permissions in Apple Health.
6. Purchases
If tips or monthly support are offered, Apple processes them through the App Store. Billing, cancellation, refunds, and subscription management are subject to Apple’s systems and applicable App Store terms. A voluntary tip does not change the app’s fitness or support guarantees.
7. Changes
We may update these terms to reflect changes to Lift & Log or applicable requirements. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to future use.
